The Sacred Yoga
By Gurudev
•Experience the sacredness of yoga. Enter the sanctuary of your
soul.
Treat your body as a temple, explore the sacredness of the embodied
soul. Let consciousness sanctify your physical, mental and emotional bodies
and awaken the soul consciousness.
• Explore the Ancient Guarded Wisdom and Secrets of Yoga.
It is simple to integrate the sacredness of the soul into your
practice of postures. Experience the presence of the spirit and the glory
of the divine. Manifest it as peace, love and joy in your heart.
This practice offers you direct passage to the soul's innermost
corridors. It retrieves, recaptures and integrates the sacred wisdom of
yoga. It elevates the ordinary practice of yoga to a level of sacredness
of the soul. You experience it more like a prayer than posture; more like
a divine dance than strained discipline.
• During the practice of Yoga, dark, unconscious Forces surface.
They manifest themselves through physical, mental and emotional
bodies and are transformed into light by the presence of integrative consciousness.
This depth retrieves the treasured principles of ancient yoga that have
been lost or ignored in popular yoga practices.
The yoga of depth recaptures the spiritual roots that are missing
in a body-centered practice. It makes your practice deeply soothing, contemplative,
relaxing and healing.
• A Yoga Practice that Integrates Authentic Principles of Hatha
and Raja Yoga into a Holistic Practice is Meditation in Motion.
Only when your practice becomes a prayerful integration of body,
mind and heart does it awaken and release the deepest healing forces lying
latent in the body.
Postures with an inner dimension can be adopted regardless of your
physical ability. They enhance and deepen your present practice.
The major integrative benefits of yoga have nothing to do with
physical skills or flexibility. It is the right attitude and awareness
with which you encounter and eliminate mental and emotional blocks that
surface during the practice of yoga.
In this posture, you will learn how to integrate the primal wisdom
that animates your body. You can then eliminate emotional reactions that
inhibit the flow of divine shakti.
• Proactive Yoga is a Tribute to your Soul rather than a Condemnation
of the Body's Limitations.
No matter how far you progress in a body-centered practice, you
cannot bypass limitations that are inherent in the body. You are still
bound by those limitations. No matter how far you progress in mental discipline,
you cannot bypass the limitations within which the mind functions.
When body-mind feelings (the heart center) act in a complementary
fashion, you suddenly enhance the capacity of both the body and the mind,
even though you haven't yet entered the domain of the spirit.
When actions (postures) and thoughts move with the same intention
under the guidance of the ego, they produce external achievements. But
when they move together as tools of consciousness, it brings spiritual
unfoldment and integration. Then - yoga happens.
• Resources are outside. Source is within.
You can maintain your unconscious attitudes, fears and inhibitions
and still be successful in creating resources. But to connect with the
Source, you must let go of all that holds you back.
For resources, you can adopt a spiritual master and even adopt
spiritual disciplines, but you cannot be happy. Your ego-self that brought
you success is in the way.
The yoga system I have developed is very unique, but it is not
new. The ingredients are ancient. What is new is the recipe. When I tell
you the principles and techniques that are integrated into this yoga,
you will recognize for yourself that is it yoga of depth.
Concentration can be a tool of ego, but meditation is the transcendence
of body, mind and ego.
